ABOUT

I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in medical trauma. My work began after witnessing how prior traumatic healthcare experiences prevented people from seeking potentially life-saving medical care.

Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to understanding how medical stress and trauma shape recovery, identity, and daily life. I became a trauma psychologist and embedded myself in the settings where medical trauma unfolds in real time.

My research and clinical work focus on improving how healthcare systems recognize and respond to medical trauma, while my creative writing explores the lived experience of illness, injury, disability, and recovery.

LET’S WORK TOGETHER.

I welcome inquiries related to speaking engagements, research collaborations, consultation, educational opportunities, and interdisciplinary projects related to medical trauma.

I’m not currently accepting clinical referrals or providing direct clinical services through this website.
